Luck is a Game Mechanic featured in Dead by Daylight .

Overview

Luck only affects a Survivor's Self-Unhook chances for each effort.

Contrary to pop behavior, Luck does not touch the Rarity of an Item found in a Chest and no longer affects the Escape chances of Carry Traps .

Proficiency Indicator

If an action is afflicted by Luck, the Take chances Proficiency Indicator will be shown in the HUD:

	The Gamble Proficiency Indicator works alongside the Luck Mechanic and indicates whether the action the Player is currently performing has a higher or lower gamble at succeeding. Only applies to self-unhooking from a Hook .
